I never knew what ox and the mire meant until a few years ago. If I heard that phrase before, I must have blocked it out. And I think it's funny that a song about stalking earns such huge royalties.

Here's my random fact for you: speaking of Sting and his songs, did you know that the song "Don't Stand So Close To Me" is about a pedophile?

PS- your image verification thing can bite me!

Luke 14: 5 in the New Testament talks about rescuing your ox from a pit as something rational people would do in spite of the uptight sabbath laws of the old ways. So I mean...it comes from somewhere.
I mean If my whatever were stuck in something I'd pull it out even if it were sunday.

I disagree, anyone can get hepatitis from a toilet seat especially in public toilets

But you'd have to lick the seat. So, no, not anyone could get it from a toilet. You're more likely to get pregnant from sitting on a public lou.

More to the point, howcould my mother begin to even guess that was the source. Much more likely she knew exactly which boyfriend gave it to her and was using the San Fran toilet story as misdirection.
