Actually Said By An Actual Client

"Is there any way that when the site comes up... music plays?"

All I could think to say was, "Is there any way for me to talk you out of that?"

Sure, how about this MIDI file of Greensleeves as performed by my High School Madrigals? We totally took third place at the Shakespeare Competition with it.

I TOTALLY think you should have that song playing on this site. With a whole bunch of glitter badges on your sidebars.

I get clients that ask me about that too. I try to tell them that most surfers automatically look for the stop or mute button when music starts playing. Another reason why I hate MySpace pages.

I like to subtly move my hand up to my forehead and extend my index finger and thumb to look like the letter "L" then ask them, totally deadpan, "Are you serious?"
