to be home for 2 days alone and drink beer and do DDR. And I can't even come close to keepin' up with the damn game. But the pure silence would be golden, as they say.
Donna leaves this afternoon for a few days of vacation with all but one of the girls. She's taking my mother too. That should be a joy for everyone involved. My mom's a hell of a camper and hardly really annoying and bossy to everyone.
That was sarcasm.
I'm staying behind for rehearsals which just can't be missed. That and I love work so much that I could never leave just to recreate. I mean... really... I could never.
That might have been sarcasm too.
Megan isn't staying home or going to Idaho. She's at her second LDS girls' camp of the summer and won't be home until Saturday. That means I've got a couple nights to myself. Well, me and the dog.
I hope the dog doesn't mind me drinking alone while I play Dance Dance Revolution... in the dark... in my underwear.
That wasn't sarcastic. I really hope that.

My husband took the kids to his mom's house, and I couldn't go along because of work. I don't have DDR, but his absence definitely affects what music I listen to (all the stuff I like and my husband doesn't, but list is to awful for me to own up to it on the Internet ;) ). Also it shouldn't affect my beer consumption since I can drink as much beer and wine as I like when he's around, but it has. It's pathetic really -- I'm nearly 36 years old, yet still naughty if left unsupervised...
Are you saying that there are people out there that DON'T play Dance Dance Revolution in their underwear???
Shit.
